Evan Cardinaux | Certified Asbestos Consultant & Associate Project Manager

Evan joined Guzi-West Inspection and Consulting in August 2022 as an Environmental Scientist and has since advanced into the roles of Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) and Project Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences with a concentration in Hydrology from California State University, Chico.

Before joining Guzi-West, Evan contributed to research supporting Upper Bidwell Park’s fire-fuel reduction planning and worked on water purification strategies for the Cortina Indian Rancheria. Since joining the team, he has performed sampling and worked as a Project Manager throughout the North State.  His field and project experience spans Asbestos, Lead-Based Paint, Mold, Methamphetamine, PCBs, Silica, Smoke Damage, Sewage/Bacteria, Waste Characterization, and more. Evan also contributed to the 2025 cleanup efforts in Los Angeles following the Eaton Fire and Pacific Palisades Fire. Additionally, he has supported research into regulatory standards that guide Guzi-West’s sampling procedures and reporting practices.

Outside of work, Evan is an avid model painter, enjoys playing tabletop games with friends, and spends his free time with his girlfriend and pets.
