Tracking Project Status -- Camp Fire
Butte County has given out a great, informational PDF about finding your project and tracking its status. This is accessible for both homeowners and contractors.
Some tips we’ve found helpful:
- If you know the Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) or as it is listed “Parcel Number”, use that when looking up your property.
- Always make sure the next drop-down menu reads “Contains”. If the menu says something different, your property might not come up.
- If you are searching by Parcel Number, include the dashes.
- Example: 000-000-000
*If you do not use the dashes in your parcel number, the search will say “Property Not Found”*
If you do not know your Parcel Number, this website http://gis.buttecounty.net/Public/index.html?viewer=dssearch developed by Butte County is a quick and easy way to find that information. Type in your address in the search bar located on the map and to the left of the screen, your APN, Address and Jurisdiction will show up in the tool bar.
